THE CHALLENGE

This particular church was designed before they had even thought of supplementing their services with pictures of videos. As a result, their building’s architecture made it difficult for them to mount a projector close enough to the front for it to provide a crisp picture quality as they had to mount it over 60 feet away from the stage. They were left with poor image quality in all their presentations, which defeated the purpose of including a presentation component and took away from their overall ambience. During their search process for a better projector, they asked Matrix if we could provide a solution, and we were happy to help.

THE SOLUTION

This project involved the installation of the following components: a Sony VPL-FHZ120L 12,000-lumens laser projector and a VPLLZ4025 zoom lens.

After a demo, the church was so impressed, they knew this was the correct solution for them. With this new projector, the church is now able to reinforce their services with top-quality images that ultimately heighten the overall quality of each service.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Gerrit VandenDool, the Chair of the Communication Committee for the Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Edmonton was beyond pleased with the result. In a reference letter for Matrix, he wrote, “[t]he videos and pictures on our screen were crystal clear and the colours were stunning…the team from Matric Video professionally installed the projector in January and every week since our services have been enhanced by the display. The tech team no longer needs to advise service leaders that their presentation may be hard to read.”
